Step 1: Order a Resizing Kit

Step 2: Unpack Your Resizing Kit
Once your resizing kit arrives, unpack it. The box should contain two smaller black rails, two smaller blue rails, and a smaller front cover.
Step 3: Prep Your Sofa
Remove the cushions from the sofa. Remove the base cover from the bottom of the sofa. Remove the seatback covers from the sofa. Remove the foldable pad from the base. Next, remove the two black and the two blue beams from the sofa.
Tip the sofa on its back and remove the first black beam. Tip the sofa on its front to remove the second black beam. Now, return the sofa to an upright position and remove the two blue beams from the top connectors on the front and back of the sofa.
Step 4: Resize the Sofa to a Club Seat
Take the foldable pad and place it on the base and slice the ends of the sofa together, compressing the honeycomb to transform it into a club seat.
Step 5: Install the New Beams
Install the two blue beams in the top and back of the club seat. Flip the club seat on its back to install the bottom black beam, making sure the Velcro is facing down. Flip the club seat on its front to install the second black beam, again making sure the Velcro is facing down.
Step 6: Reinstall the Covers
Make sure the foldable pad is placed on the base of the club seat. Install the new, smaller front cover and attach it to the Velcro on the bottom front black beam. Reinstall one of the seatback covers and secure it in place.
Step 7: Reinstall the Cushions
Take one base cushion and one seatback cushion and place these on the club seat. Store the other base cushion and seatback cushion in a safe location until you want to convert your club seat back into a sofa.
Step 8: Enjoy Your Club Seat
